Our Projects

Along with focusing on building our robot, we also wanted to make a change to our community.  We did this through spreading knowledge about robotics to kids, and we also helped the overall community be better step by step, increasing the knowledge of robotics to everyone!

FCSN

In a heartwarming endeavor, our team embarked on a remarkable journey to teach robotics to a school of incredible children with special needs. With unwavering dedication and a deep understanding of their unique abilities, we carefully tailored our approach to ensure inclusivity and engagement for every child. Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons using Legos, we introduced them to the fascinating world of robotics, nurturing their curiosity and igniting their passion for STEM. Witnessing their joy and sense of accomplishment as they built and programmed their own robots was truly awe-inspiring. This transformative experience not only empowered these remarkable children to explore their potential but also fostered a sense of belonging and teamwork within the classroom. Together, we shattered barriers, unlocking a world of endless possibilities, and leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

Second Harvest

All of us volunteered at a food bank together, and helped sort and package food for the homeless, not only using our team for robotics but rather helping the community through our team. We not only focus fully on our competitive robotics side but also improving the community in whichever way possible. Spending time at the food bank taught us organization and collaboration skills as the skills to correctly organize the huge amount of food showed how to keep our building area pristine and the collaboration to get work done as efficiently as possible was translated into our work to finish our robot in an effective manner quickly.

Adventure Time

We volunteered at an after school daycare, Adventure Time, and taught kids about the insights of building through Legos and simple talks to the younger audience, showing the next generation of kids the importance and life skills of knowing building. Engaging with children and teaching them the fundamentals of building not only imparted knowledge but also profoundly impacted our team, shaping our core values. As we guided these young minds through the process of construction, we witnessed firsthand the power of patience, perseverance, and collaboration. The challenges they faced and overcame inspired us to embrace resilience and determination in our own work. Moreover, their boundless creativity and uninhibited imagination reminded us of the importance of thinking outside the box and embracing innovation. The joy and excitement they exuded while constructing their creations reminded us of the value of passion and enthusiasm. Through this experience, we learned that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about instilling values that shape us as individuals and as a team.
